Thanks for the negativity

Funny how negativity works. My friends and I have been targeted for some time by a lunatic. You can see her tags about me and others if you google Gale Molinari. I supposedly am a bully. I invite you to go through my blog and Facebook page and find any bullying. I am a defender of those being bullied including victims of this nut. This resulted in her attacks on me as well as the defamation of a very good woman and of several of my other friends.

Another case is Opinionated Man/Harsh Reality has also been tagged by another character and now he has closed his blog. I don’t know if those attacks were the reason, but they got pretty personal in his case. Damn shame as he was a great supporter of other bloggers and wrote some brilliant stuff.

I was very upset to see my name all over the internet being tagged as a bully. I have contacted Word Press and their answer is without a court order they will do nothing. As my troll is in another country there is no chance of that even though she has been cautioned in her own country about this sort of behavior. It seems you can post whatever nonsense and defamation you please on Word Press and other social media sites without a care if you are in another country from your victim.

The funny thing is that because of these awful tags my blog along with my friends blogs are getting more traffic and evidently the traffic likes what they see as my stats and my friends are shooting up like crazy. So my advice to anyone that is bothered by a troll like mine is just ride with it and enjoy the free advertising. We can’t stop them but when people click they find your blog.

So thanks my little troll queen and minion. I am really enjoying the stats. By the way, the latest post resulted in twenty more followers. If I decide to write that book of poetry perhaps you would be kind enough to trash it so more people read it.

Blogging bullies and silly fights.

fighting cats

Honestly I don’t get people that get hysterically riled by something someone writes. Two of my favorite blogs were attacked recently. Harsh Reality and Lucky Otter. Sure they may post blogs that are controversial. I have argued with both of them. We don’t always agree. That is what makes blogs interesting. Good grief if we all agreed on subjects we might as well just shut blogs down and all go home singing Cumbaya.

Being passionate I can understand, getting upset I can understand, not agreeing, thinking the other person is a total ass I can understand. It is the personal attacks I cannot understand.

Intelligent people do not resort to personal attacks to win arguments they find better arguments. Personal attacks are a good sign the person has blown the argument and is sending up smoke screens.

If you disagree with another blogger, walk away for awhile. That other blog ain’t going any where. Think about your argument, find data to backup your point of view. In other words grow the hell up.

People who do these personal attacks have no idea how much it turns the rest of us off. I tend to unfollow blogs like that because I can’t stand bullies and blowhards. I think a lot of us who quietly watch this nonsense feel when someone blows up and starts attacking someone else.

Recently I even saw how a persons wife was dragged into it. What kind of a vile coward brings a persons family into a damned internet argument?

You who are the victims of these sorts don’t bother to engage them. They are getting their entertainment by stalking and denigrating you. It is a form of control. Don’t let them have space in your head. They aren’t worth the time or effort. These people are in the minority let them shoot themselves down. It is bound to happen sooner or later.

Let go of Negative People

negative people rent free

Word Press is a great place to read some great writing, poetry, news and opinions but it seems there are those that would poison it by personal attacks on other people. A blogger I respect and enjoy Jason of Harsh Reality is being attacked viciously evidently because he is popular. Sorry didn’t know that was a crime. I was attacked as were my friends by a blogger who is no longer active I think she found out that blogs like that don’t last very long. If all your blog is about is tearing down someone else instead of adding to the landscape here all I can say is I think blogging my not be for you. For those that see these negative blogs I suggest that you don’t follow them. People who tear others down use confrontation as their oxygen. All social media outlets have these kinds of trolls. They just aren’t happy unless they are attacking others. Why do they do it? Who knows? Lack of anything else to write about? Grandiosity thinking that other bloggers hang on their every word? Narcissism? If they can’t be the top dog then they will tear down anyone that is. Maybe they could try beating their nemesis with their writing. Come up with some good articles. Write a great expose if you are that passionate.

I think it is really getting down in the sewer when you attack the other person’s family and friends. Your problem is with that person not their family. You must not have much of an argument if you stoop that low.

internet-troll-funny

As for me, I am going to do the same thing with these Word Press trolls as I did with the Facebook troll that followed me here then gave up. Ignore them. Sorry rent in my head is far to expensive to spend on those types.

I am not going to mention the blogger here as I think he has gotten way too much publicity from bashing others.

Women and the church an answer to Opinionated Man

Mary Magdalen

Opinionated Man has posted that women should not be priests. His argument is that is doesn’t feel right. This is an argument that I have also had with the husband for years. His argument? Well Peter left his wife to follow Jesus so they are the only ones that should be priests. The Pope said so and he is infallible. These misogynistic attitudes have permeated the church for centuries.

Women and their roles in the church have been subject to propaganda including the early female leaders being removed from the Bible. Mary Magdalene in new research in newly discovered early texts may have been one of Christ’s disciples, one of prominence. New Testament gospels written in the early years of the church acknowledge that women were among the first of Jesus’s followers. Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Susanna accompanied Jesus during his early ministry and even financed some of it. (Luke 8:1-3). He was even taught by an unnamed Gentile woman that the ministry of God is not limited but belongs to all who have faith (Mark 7:24; Matthew 15:21-28). He was a frequent visitor to the house of Martha and taught and ate with the women of that house. Women were the first witnesses of the resurrection and none turned on him. Actually none of his followers did according to new research on the character of Judas but we will save that for another day.

Look at the church today who are the ones that give it the most support? Who take care of the fundraisers? The charitable works? The women.  As in the early days of the church they play prominent roles. As a matter of fact scholars have suggested that the majority of early Christians were women.

In the Gospel of Philip, Mary Magdalene is one of the three women who walked with the lord as his companion. In the Pistis Sophia she is again preeminent among the disciples. In the Gospel of Mary she is a leader among the disciples.

So how did Mary Magdalene and the women of the early church get pushed aside as leaders and priests? I suspect there was a power struggle in the early church. Women had too much authority. Those that felt that women were not staying in the roles of support that the early church thought they should be in did a little rewriting of history. Instead of a leader Mary Magdalene in the Fourth Century is made into a woman of ill repute that converts. This was due to a confusion between Mary Magdalene and the unnamed sinner who anointed Jesus’s feet (Luke 7:36-50). Think about it if you want to besmirch a woman and bring her down what is the first claim you make. She has also been confused with several other women in the bible  (John 12:18) Mary of Bethany. Also during the middle ages land was left to male heirs not women. When priests would come into the church their worldly goods would become the church’s. They were not allowed to marry for the same reason. How do you think the church became rich?

I don’t mind if you have an opinion but I do have a problem with prejudice. That is why my husband goes out to church and I don’t. Thank you but if I am not good enough to be a leader in your church then I will take my talents elsewhere.

Thank you OM. I enjoyed refuting your arguments. I admire your belief in your church but it should not blind you to facts.
