Land of Make Believe

She lived in the land of make believe,

Where there was only happy ever after,

Where her prince would never leave,

Would never turn and shaft her.

But he did.

Off he went he found his Snow White.

She tried to throw mud and dirt,

But he knew that this was right

and would not let Snow be hurt.

She begged, she cried.

Stomped her feet and screamed,

Moaned and groaned and sighed,

More than you could have dreamed.

But off he went he left her flat

She wouldn’t face the facts

To make believe he wasn’t a rat

Couldn’t accept Snow had what she lacks

So she took some mud and some straw

Made a man pretended it was him

But everyone she fooled finally saw

That she was really rather dim.

Off she goes around the land

dragging along this straw

and everyone behind their hand

Would laugh because there was no man they saw.
