Mean girls never grow up they become internet trolls.

calling someone fat

Read an article today that mean girls grow up to be mean women and go on to destroy lives just like they did in high school only as adults they have much more power at their disposal. If you are the victim of one of these bullies the best thing to do is ignore them. Without attention, they become what they really are. Seventeen-year-old nitwits that never learned how to negotiate the world without denigrating others. They don’t know what to do when people ignore them and usually get nastier before they explode and destroy themselves.

Keep you head high around mean girls and trolls. The eventually crawl back under their bridges.

Well said. I wonder though if the cycle can’t be interrupted?

Sadly true and if you think about it, the same thing happens to mean boys.

I just avoided a high school reunion but got copied into the emails, and the control freak from high school was still control-freaking away.

Some of the others seem to have changed, though–or at least gotten older.

I didn’t like them in high school doubt I would like them now besides I live 2000 miles from there. We went to my husbands high school reunion and everyone there did nothing but complain about their lives. Robert just told them how happy he was and how well he was doing. We rented a limo too. hahahahaaha it was fun but I would never do it again. Sometimes with bullies being happy is the best revenge.

What went wrong? When I was a child trolls were cute little plastic gnomes with long colourful hair. I used to collect them. 😉

Sadly, these girls and boys become adults in the workplace. The greatest tragedy is that some become bosses. Leopards don’t change their spots!

Exactly this disturbing character flaw follows them and allows them to victimize others with their viciousness.
