I like both of it. The quote and your poem…

You are so welcome, just hope you had a fantastic Valentine’s Day yesterday, Gale, and spent time with someone who loves you as much as you deserve to be loved.

It was wonderful actually we spent it at a doggie wedding with my Sophia as the matron of honor. It was to raise money for Pugs for Pinky a charity I support gladly. Helps people that are having a hard time with vet bills. Can’t imagine a better one.

What do we score? In my case, nothing but a headache and a stress-induced rash.

Your poem captures the needless anguish revenge can wreak on the body, and mind. While “I’ll show him” motivates some, I don’t think it’s a sustainable catalyst for success. What about our own success? Compete with yourself. Make yourself happy. I’m learning to adopt this philosophy more openly.

I’m very glad I came across your blog, and I look forward to reading more.
