Just a little shrubbery

Be careful when in the shrubbery
Its fake and kind of rubbery.
Many have entered and been lost
Never mind the cost.

We won’t go looking for them you see
We won’t we let them be
The pawns you see went in
Never to be seen again

Then the horses trotted by
With lances and a horsey fly
Came the brave and fearless Knight
Longing for a fight.

Ah we sighed and then we moaned
We wish that we had never loaned
Our good pajamas to said knight
Who went in the shrubbery to fight.

For never can there ever be
A footy pajama we will see
As good and warm as those
We would ever suppose.

Farewell sir knight, pawn and all
For in the shrubbery did fall
Pajamas, pawn and knave
So single minded and brave.

Such pride, such bravado and daring
he has searched again for herring
In the tallest tree
Shrouded there by shrubbery.
